The Noble Print: Platinum and Palladium Printing

WEEK LONG WORKSHOP

Eric will spend a week covering enlarged negative making, the use of conventional chemistry, the use of ammonium based chemistry (Zia, Ware), and several coating techniques. He will also cover several different masking techniques and digital negative making. The workshop will cost $700, with all materials included. You will have a good understanding of the possibilities that platinum printing can offer you after your week in an alternative land. Included is a copy of his book, ‘The Noble Print: Platinum and Palladium Printing’. The class will be limited to 4 participants.

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS

Beginning Platinum/Palladium

This workshop will cover the process of making platinum and palladium prints using traditional and alternative chemistries. We will also cover the making of printing negatives both traditional silver based and digitally, preparing the paper, and finishing the print. The workshop will be held at Eric's studio in the Dallas. The cost is $200 and a material fee of $100 that includes a copy of his book on the platinum process. Advanced Platinum Workshop

Digital Training

If you are looking for a good start on Photoshop and need a little help, give me a call and we'll set up a local one on one workshop for you. I have been using it for photo retouching and image refinement, so if you are looking to use it as a design tool I may not be your best choice. Individual training includes profiling of your monitor and two paper profiles to improve your digital output. I am currently using Photoshop CS3 extended for my image editing needs.

3 hr training and profiling service $225.00

(Local training in the Dallas, Ft Worth Metroplex)

In studio color managment is also available. I will come in and profile your monitor, and make two paper profiles for $100.00.
